Roll of Honour Remembrance Boards
Our roll of honour remembrance boards can serve as a memorial that perpetuates the memory of and pays tribute to those who have died in war and will not be forgotten by our's or future generations.
Remembrance is a significant word in itself but is more vividly associated by most us with The Great War 1914-18 and The Second World War 1939-45 through the ceremony and observance of Remembrance Day and Remembrance Sunday.
There is a subtle difference and the two occasions are sometimes confused. Remembrance Day occurs on the November 11th, it commemorates the signing of the armistice between the Allies and Germany at 11am on 11 November 1918 - the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month, for this reason the event is also known as Armistice Day.
Remembrance Sunday commemorations take place on the closest Sunday to the 11th of November, this year, 2022, it will held on the 13th of November and as usual will take place at 11am at The Cenotaph, Whitehall in London.
